While international funding has presented some challenges recently, we’re happy to share that we continue to make progress in the important work we’ve been doing. Thanks to the ongoing support from our dedicated community, we remain deeply committed to our mission of improving the lives of women and children in rural Uganda.
Despite ongoing challenges, we are moving forward with our next health outreach clinic in collaboration with Rugarama Hospital on March 7th. These clinics provide essential medical services to individuals who would otherwise have limited or no access to care. In a region where healthcare is scarce, these quarterly clinics are a vital source of support for the community.
Additionally, we are excited to share that we have secured roughly 90% of the funding for the construction of the new bathroom facilities at the Home for Divine Mercy. These facilities will play a pivotal role in significantly improving the living conditions for the women and children residing there. Proper sanitation is essential for health, dignity, and well-being, and we are thrilled to bring this improvement to the home.
