Heart Sounds is helping women and children through various projects, making a profound impact for African communities.
Community Health Outreach Clinics
Heart Sounds collaborates with Rugarama Hospital to conduct quarterly outreach clinics in Maziba community, Kabale District. Our mission is to deliver essential preventive, curative, and rehabilitative health services to an underserved population.
Heart Sounds partnered with local leaders to fund the construction of the Paibona’s first and only secondary school. The initiative focuses on fundraising for classroom blocks, desks, and textbooks to provide a conducive learning environment.
Hearts Sounds works with Charities of Divine Mercy, a non-profit founded by the sisters of the Consolers of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Institute to help rehabilitate vulnerable girls who drop out of school due to poverty by providing vocational training.
Peer Nation empowers mental health service users by providing hands-on skills in art and crafts, specifically in creating fabric products and unique jewelry. Heart Sounds collaborates by marketing these products at fair trade markets in the United States.
Heart Sounds is committed to expanding its efforts to offer more support and initiate new projects to help people in Uganda. However, we can only achieve this with the generous donations from supporters like you.
Our current projects include community outreach health clinics, vocational training for girls, public school, sustainable farming, and fair trade jewelry sales to support women's mental health.
