In August, Heart Sounds had the wonderful opportunity to be part of the Gloucester Block Party, a community event that brings together local businesses, artists, and non-profits to share their work. We were grateful to host a booth where we could connect with both locals and visitors, sharing more about the projects we’re so passionate about.
“Pur Manyen,” meaning “new farming” in Acholi, is a Heart Sounds initiative in northern Uganda promoting sustainable agriculture, food security, and local employment. After a successful pilot, the project is expanding to 2 acres with a focus on soybeans and community-led growth.
