GOOD NEWS! Thanks to our generous donors the dormitory is completed. A dream of founder, Father Evarist Ankwasiize, this dormitory now houses 50 vulnerable girls, assuring them safety and security as they pursue vocational training. Thank you Lions Club, District 33 K in Massachusetts and the Knights of Columbus, Council 81 in Marlborough, Massachusetts as well as many private donors.
Our work with the Home will continue supporting educational and nutrition efforts in 2022!
In 2013 the idea of creating a sustainable business to support those recovering from mental illness was begun. Now Heart Sounds US, at fair trade markets in New York, sells jewelry on behalf of recovering individuals, returning 100% of the funds to these skilled craftspeople. As we emerge from the pandemic, we hope to grow this sustainable business with new opportunities in other states and online as well. Visit us at firstname.lastname@example.org
